Hi Eric

Will you be putting this on YouTube? I'd love to add it to my faves.

No, I don't think it will ever get up on youtube.

It's best left as a bootleg.

Wow, thanks Warnakey, this is all new Smile stuff and a pleasure to hear. Why are the last tracks called All Day? Sure sounds like Love to Say Da Da to me.

Hey I've been looking for Heroes & Villans Pt 1&2 - I believe it has Smile stuff found nowhere else. Any chance you can upload?

Very interesting! Thanks! I like the childlike playfulness mixed with hipsterisms. I'd love to hear what Brian would've done with this stuff. Favorite tracks--Swim Swim and Breathing. I bet George Fell into His French Horn evolved out of Brian Falls Into the Mic.

Do you have recordings of the Vegetable "arguments"? I have one, but music was dubbed into it.

this is eric,

I do have the full 22 minute vegetable argument.

It will be up sometime! (with project smile)

hi - seems disc 2 has gone... would be great if you could re-add this...? cheers! (great site btw)

i just tried it right now, it worked for me.

sometimes with mediafire it will say that there are no servers available with the download.

Just try again later if it says that, the file is still there.

Hope that helps.

Great, have been looking for this for absolutely ages!

The Lexingtons said...

Everything else will be following this format with alternate links soon.

Thank you, Thank you for reposting this! Just a small problem, disc 1 extracts fine, but I get for part 2 - "not a support archive nor is not the first archive in the archive set".. sorry, can anyone help me to remedy this THANKS ;-)

Anonymous said...

Part 2 is corrupt! Gutted!

Anonymous said...

Open part 1 and part 2 should open automatically if in the same directory, it's a split archive. Thanks a million for fixing this Warnakey, you're a saint for uploading these!

Anonymous said...

No good I also get the "not a support archive nor is not the first archive in the archive set" message...

The Lexingtons said...

refixed, again. haha.

Anonymous said...

Brilliant both parts work! ;-) But where is disc 2 to be found? Part 1 and 2 combine to make disc 1, where is disc 2??!!

The Lexingtons said...

bazam!!

fixed!

And I fixed the labeling problem. Download both parts and Disc 2 is included.

yay!

Sorry, maybe I'm thick and not doing something right, but I've downloaded both parts three times, and I can't open anything. I've tried a couple of my unzip programs, and I get errors, either Unknown compression method or no files found. Any suggestions?

The Lexingtons said...

I simply don't know what to do!

I've tried it with rar files and zip files and for some reason it just doesn't want to work for some people.

I really don't know what to do, short of uploading each song individually. (which i really don't want to do)

I wish someone would figure out why this happens, and if i'm doing something wrong, but it definitely works for me, and several other people.

I really am lost as to why it doesn't work for some people.

I will look into it. And end this fiasco with psychedelic sounds once and for all.

Hi Eric! Thanks for the reply- it helped me realize the problem must be on my end, so I downloaded a trial version of Winzip 11 and that worked! So I'm all set, but wanted to pass this along- Windows XP zip extractor, and Unzip did not work, at least the versions I have. And thanks for all the great stuff!

awesome =]

Download Winrar if you have trouble with the error "Unknown compression method". I had the same error with winzip, but it extracted fine with winrar

To Mac users trying to open this:

Open Terminal and enter

"cd ~/Desktop
unzip PsychedelicSoundsPart1.zip"

And then again for Part 2. Worked for me.

Two things...Your site rates really high, at least to us old musicians that really DO appreciate boots..even if we want to make all our outtakes available (and we DO! sometimes) , we're usually not allowed, under the old (obsolete) model of artist contracts..and when such a good job is done of representing our art is made...well...'nuff said..I hope the DM*A nazis don't screw this site up!
Also, for older mac OS users..winrar in windows (Virtual PC ) works fine for this archive...format's too new, is all..
Thanx 4 all the Sea Of Tunes too...wanted em for years! Yay!!!!!!!!

Hi ! could you reupload this one ? the link is broken.

Thank you so much !

Anonymous said...

A few of the links still work if anyone finds this. The problems others have described above is due I believe to the the 'different' file name of the 2nd file. Once you download the zips, take out the spaces between the words. For example, the first is PsychedelicSoundsPart1, and the second is Psychedelic Sounds Part 2. They need to be the same.
