Don't ask me why, but I have every available vinyl release (some both mono & stereo) and I still buy the CD reissues.

If you started later with just the CDs available, your first new vinyl is pretty cool. I almost bought it myself (again!).

BTW, Newbury Comics has all vinyl 30% off this weekend. Buy more.

It's always so exciting to add something new to one's BB collection, even when it is something that you already have in other formats. Even though I grew up listening to them on vinyl, I don't have any of my old albums left. Sure do miss them!

Hi Warnakey, I assume that you have seen Al and Dennis on youtube

shopping in London. A fuller version is available commercially on dvd (because I bought a copy), however with no sound. Do you have the audio part for this classic film?

Best wishes, and many thanks for all your efforts in this blog.

Stephen, UK.

hey stephen, i don't think any audio ever existed. Most "personal" cameras had no sound back then anyway. I do have the london report in mpg format though. I might upload it tonight.

great album--but that is one of the worst cover photos ever. "Hey guys, let's go to the farm and feed some animals for the cover" "Yeah, that'd be really great Brian..."

Thank you so much for posting all this Beach Boys and Brian Wilson material. I am very thankful for this.

I was wondering if you could post stuff like Beatrice From Baltimore, Sail On Sailor (demo), Wouldn't It Be Nice To Live Again, Til I Die (demo) and other rare songs from the late 60's and early 70's.

They sell vinyl at Best Buy now, BTW. It's a new world, truly...

I got Brian to autograph my 'Pet Sounds' 1999 vinyl reissue at Amoeba Hollywood a couple months back, so now it's signed by Brian and Tony Asher. Sorry, dude -- just had to tell ya.

Great blog. check out our dance to "Fun Fun Fun" - a real cross-generational celebration: a young and an old beach boys fan.
